Card Featuring Altenew Leaf Canopy Stamp set and Dies

Hello Everyone. Today’s card features the beautiful stamp set from Altenew. called Leaf Canopy stamp set

I stamped the outline image from the stamp set a while back as soon as I received my order from Altenew.  At work when I am not too busy I like to color the images. Then die cut it using coordinating dies at home. It just took me a while to turn those images into cards.

Here’s my card for today

I love the Blue and Gold color combination on the leaves. I used the Rectangle Stitched Die from Simon Says Stamp to cut a panel in craft card stock and another in sky blue cardstock. But the craft panel I die cut with the small one of the Leaf Canopy die to create a negative leaf image backed that with gold and craft pattern paper.

I layered the panels offsetting each other to show all the layers from each side also. I think that creates an extra interest in the layout.

Stamped the sentiment from the same stamp set that says “life is better with friends” on a while piece of cardstock with Memento Tuxedo Black Ink and popped the piece on foam tape for added dimension.

Also attached the large colored die cut leaf cluster with one layer of foam tape and the small one with two layers of foam tape.

I love the combination so much. An extra panel of sky blue matted on one side of card brings the whole card together.

I loved this leaf canopy stamp set so much. It is so versatile and can be used in so many projects.

Here I used it on another much colorful card.

This one has more of the feminine vibe to it. The combination of pink and green is one my go-to combination when it comes to a girly card. I  cut the circles using Stitched Circle Dies from Simon Says Stamp.

The large circle directly adhered to the light green panel but the other two are added on foam tape. The leaf clusters are then arranged between the two pink circles.

Sending lots of love sentiment is stamped with Memento Tuxedo Black ink. The sentiment is also from the same stamp set.

Then it is finally attached to a 4.25 inches high and 5.5 inches wide top folding card base made of 110 lb white card stock.

I really loved how both cards turned out. Let me know in the comments what you guys think about it?

I really love hearing other’s opinion about my cards.

Hugs
Jyoti
