Simon Says Stamp Stamptember Reselase and Thank You card

Hello and Welcome to my blog. Today’s post consists of the card that I made using Simon Says Stamp Stamptember release. I ordered this stamp set on the first day of the release. But unfortunately, it arrived around the beginning of the third week. But as they all say better late than never. I was dancing with joy when I received it in the mail that day. Because these stamps are all limited edition. You won’t be able to purchase it after the stock is over.

This is a big stamp set with one large flower cluster, a couple of other flowers and some leaves with some beautiful sentiments.

Background:

I repeatedly stamped a panel of Neenah Solar white cardstock 110 lb with one of the small flower images from Simon Says Stamp Stamptember stamp set called Beautiful Day 2 with Versamark ink. Changed the position of the flowery each time to create like an organic pattern. Embossed those with Gold Embossing powder. I have been into ink blended backgrounds lately. So I picked distressed oxide inks from Ranger. One was Twisted Citron and Peacock Feathers. Got to love how the distressed oxide inks blend so smoothly.

The Focal Image:

To create the focal image I stamped one of the flowers with the stem image from the stamp set with Versamark ink and embossed with gold embossing powder. Which was then colored using Distressed Inks in colors Seedless Preserve and Lucky Clover. Using the Watercolor brush with a simple flat wash of colors. Then I added it with foam tape on the background panel.

The Sentiment:

The sentiment is from the same stamp set. I stamped and embossed the sentiment with white embossing powder on black strips of cardstock. Cut into banners and mounted with foam tapes on the panel.

So here is my final card for today. I loved how it turned out. I just love how the purple flower pops on the green background.

Let me know in the comment down below what do you guys think about it?

I am participating in the Simon Says Stamp Wednesday Challenge.
