Card 1: “Spooky Little Friends” – Halloween Card
Creating the Haunted Background
For this card, I focused on crafting a spooky yet playful vibe. After taping off the lower portion of the panel, I blended Villainous Potion Distress Oxide ink to create a bold, eerie purple glow. The smooth transition between the white base and rich purple made the perfect backdrop for the haunted theme. A subtle fade at the edges helps draw attention to the center scene where the characters come alive.
Die-Cutting and Coloring the Elements
Using the Halloween Tick Tock Etched Dies from the Cuckoo Cottage Collection, I cut out all the tiny details—the black cat, mummy, ghosties, spider, and skull.
