There’s something so inspiring about mixing scrapbook products with cardmaking supplies, and the Turn the Page Collection from Spellbinders makes it incredibly easy! This collection is filled with tags, notebook-inspired dies, tickets, pockets, clips, and fun layering elements that work beautifully for memory keeping, cards, and even standalone embellishments.
Today I’m sharing two scrapbook layouts, two handmade cards, and a coordinating set of embellishments that showcase just how versatile this collection can be.
Scrapbook Layout #1 – Modern Layered Memories
For my first layout, I kept the background simple with a soft geometric patterned paper so the layered photo cluster would become the focal point. I built dimension using tags, ticket pieces, eyelets, and stitched layers in black, blush pink, and kraft tones.
The combination of neutral colors with touches of gold gives this page a modern scrapbook feel while allowing the photo to shine. I love how the layered papers create depth without overwhelming the page.
Scrapbook Layout #2 – Bright & Playful
For the second layout, I switched to a much brighter color palette using teal, coral, and aqua papers layered behind the photo. Torn paper edges, notebook-inspired details, tabs, and tickets create lots of visual interest while still keeping the design balanced.
Small die-cut flowers and journaling elements finish the page and make it feel playful and full of personality. This layout would work perfectly for everyday family memories or vacation photos.
Card #1 – Sweet Floral Pocket
My first card features a layered pocket design in soft pink tones with beautiful dimensional flowers. I added tickets, a gold eyelet, and a bold “Remember” sentiment to create a design that feels both elegant and scrapbook-inspired.
Mixing floral die cuts with memory-keeping elements is one of my favorite ways to stretch scrapbook supplies into cardmaking. The layers add wonderful dimension while the clean white card base keeps everything fresh and modern.
Card #2 – Interactive Tag Card
The second card uses one of the collection’s tag dies to create a fun interactive design. Behind the tag I layered torn papers in bright coral and blush, then added a sweet sentiment card inside the window.
A tiny stitched heart, decorative ticket pieces, and colorful ink splatters complete the design. The layered tag becomes the star of the card while all the small details add texture and charm.
Bonus Project – Coordinating Embellishments
No scrapbook collection is complete without handmade embellishments! I created a variety of floral tags, pockets, tabs, tickets, and journaling pieces that coordinate perfectly with the layouts and cards.
These little embellishments are wonderful to keep in your stash because they can be added to future scrapbook pages, mini albums, greeting cards, gift tags, or journals. Creating several at once is also a great way to use leftover paper scraps and die cuts.
