Hello Everyone!
Few days ago I posted on my Instagram Story a floral pattern image I picked from Pinterest. I took that as an inspiration for my card. I challenged myself to create a card like the inspiration picture. Using the supplies I already own.
My Inspiration for Today:
Most of the times I look up on Pinterest for ideas for my cards anyway. I really liked this picture i found. Here is the picture:

I really liked the yellow and shades of brown on this picture. So I tried to crate a card similar to this.
Here is my card for today:

The Focal Image:
For my card I used the Stamp set called Hibiscus Bouquet from Altenew. Stamped the outline images on a black piece of card stock with Versamark Watermark Ink. Versamark is a clear sticky ink. I colored the images using Faber Castell Polychromos in Yellow, Brown and Grey to somewhat match my inspiration picture. I like to color the images before embossing if I am using pencil colors. Then stamped and embossed the images again with Detail white embossing powder from Wow.

I cut out the images using scissors as I didn’t own the coordinating dies for this particular stamp set. Since these are large images it wasn’t hard to cut out the images using scissors.
Then I arranged the images on a black card stock panel of 4 and a quarter by 5 and a half inches.
The Sentiment:
Stamped the sentiment You are amazing on a scrap piece of cardstock with versamark ink and embossed using the white embossing powder again. Foam mounted the sentiment strip to the right hand bottom corner.

Embellished the card using some transparent light grey sequins i had lying in my stash adhered with Matte Medium.
