Glimmer Hot Foil Kit Dec ’22

The Glimmer Hot Foil Kit for Dec 22 is all about valentine and love themed. Since Valentine’s Day is just around the corner it’s perfect time to start making some Love cards.

Hello Everyone

Today I have two cards to share with you. I created both these cards just using the Glimmer Hot Foil Kit. This is how the glimmer plate set looks like:

This plate has one outside floral heart one scallop heart and one plain solid heart along with some sentiments. Also you can cut out all of this with the die set that comes with this kit. There are also some small floral dies with it.

Here are the two Valentine’s day card I created:

I stayed within the traditional valentines color palate; pink and red.

My background are these floral heart hot foiled panels. I used Glimmer Hot Foil in Gold and my Glimmer Hot Foil Machine

For the pink card I die-cut inside of the floral heart design. Then I layered a black and white piece of pattern paper behind the heart. But for the red one I added a pink scallop heart and foiled the sentiment on the panel directly.

It was easy to create a focus for my cards today as it was thought out by the glimmer plates already. These layered hearts are just too pretty as is.

For my pink card I just added a small pink heart with foam tape on the black and white heart. But for the red one I added some small floral cluster created with the dies that came with the kit on a red heart.

This glimmer foil set has some very nice valentine theme sentiments and a banner die to cut these out. I used a die cut Happy Valentines day Sentiment for my pink card but for the red one I just foiled on the card-front.

I didn’t think it was necessary to add any embellishments since these cards are foiled and already a lot of gold in them. This brings us to the end of my inspiration post today.

Which one is your favorite? Hope you found this inspiring.
