Hello Friend Card And Rachel Vass Release

Hello everyone!

Today I have a card to share with you which features this beautiful digital stamp release by Rachel Vass Designs. It’s called Dancing Delights. These flower images are just too adorable.

The Focus

The main focal image for this card is a cluster of these lovely flowers and buds. I colored the flowers using Copic colors in Y17 YR12 and YR15. The leaves and the stems are colored using G99 and G07. Nothing fancy coloring, but still these flowers look so pretty.

Arranged the flowers in a bunch and added with foam tape on a strip of metallic paint splattered black cardstock.

The Background

I ink blended the background using the new stencil by Fun Stampers Journey called Starburst Lines. I used distressed oxide inks in colors Tumbled Glass, Peacock Feathers and, Blueprint Sketch. With the help of the blending brushes by Taylored Expression, I was able to achieve a crisp stencil image.

The sentiment is from a Hero Arts stamp. This is stamped on a black piece of cardstock with sticky embossing ink and embossed with detail white embossing powder and heat set.

Finally embellished the card with the Nuvo Drops in Yellow and some shimmering pen over the flowers.

I hope you get inspired by this project.

Hugs

Altenew Always There Cards With Stencil Backgrounds

Hello and Welcome

I have a few cards to share with you on my blog today. These cards are made uisng Altenew Stamp and die set called “Always there”. I have used Altenew stencils and nuvo glimmer paste to create beautiful backgrounds for my cards.

Here are my cards for today.

Backgrounds:

Four different stencils have been used in these cards with Nuvo Glimmer Paste. My favorite is the Leaf Burst Stencil.

The Focal Point:

My focus for these cards are the beautiful stamp set from Altenew. It’s called Always There. This stamp set is a layering stamp. It comes with a few different layered images which you can stamp in different shades of the same color that gives these images a more realistic look. I love layering stamps because I don’t have to color each images if i don’t like to. For these flowers I did color the details with Faber Castell Polichromos pencils to give them more depth and dimension.

The flowers are arranged on the background panel some using just liquid glue and some using foam tape for dimensions.

I used three different shades of Altenew Die Inks for these flowers. Yellows, Pinks and Reds and the leaves are stamped in Greens.

Yellows:

Pinks:

Reds:

Greens:

Outlines:

Jet Black

The Sentiment:

The sentiments are used from another stamp set from Altenew called I Adore You. The sentiments are stamped on a black strip of card stock in Versamark Ink then embossed using Wow Embossing powder in detail white.

Then I cut the sentiments using Simon Says Stamp Die.

I layered the stenciled panel on a color card stock that coordinates with each flower cluster. Then mounted them on the card base.

Card Base:

The card base is standard A2 size card bases with 110lb Neenah Cardstock.

I really loved how these cards turned out in the end. Let me know what you think in the comment down below. I love reading comments.

I have another post using same stamp set here if you are interested in reading that. This one uses a special technique.

Hugs

Jyoti
