Hello everyone. It’s been a while I haven’t posted anything. I had been super busy with work and holidays.
Today I have this card to share with you all. This is Winter Cardinal stamp and die set from Altenew. This is my first non floral stamp I bought from Altenew. I love this stamp because this is layering stamp as most of Altenew stamps are.
So Here’s today’s card:
The Focal Image:
The cardinal is stamped in Tim Holt’s Ranger Distressed inks in Abandoned Coral, Candied Apple, Barn Door and Aged Mahogany. The tree branch in Aged Mahogany and the circle behind the bird is ink blended in Hickory Smoke and Broken China inks
The Sentiment:
The sentiment says “you make my heart sing” from the same stamp set is stamped with Memento Tuxedo Black ink and the background piece ink blended in Broken China.
Here’s a closer look.
I love these color combination because it reminds me of the cold and crisp winter scene.
The Background:
The background is one of the patter paper piece cut to 4 inches by 5 and a quarter inches using Simon Says Stamp Stitched Rectangle die.
The Card Base:
Then it is attached to a 4 and a quarter by 5 and a half inches top folding card base made with 11o lb. white card stock.
I loved how this card turned out. Hope you guys like it too.
